South Asian Review is a comprehensive academic serial publication sponsored by the Institute for International and Area Studies at Tsinghua University, published by The Commercial Press, and edited by Professor Jiang Jingkui. It is published biannually and fully indexed in CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure).

Supported by the first-level discipline of Area Studies, the journal publishes high-quality academic research related to South Asia. Its scope covers language, literature, culture, society, history, and regional and country-specific studies concerning South Asia and related regions. The journal primarily features original and innovative research articles, while also including scholarly interviews and book reviews.

It aims to present the latest developments in South Asian studies, contribute to shaping academic trends in the field, and promote the advancement of South Asian studies in China. Scholars are warmly invited to submit their work.
