South Asian Review is a comprehensive academic journal sponsored by the Institute of International and Area Studies at Tsinghua University, published by The Commercial Press, and edited by Professor Jiang Jingkui. The journal is published twice a year and is fully indexed in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI).

Supported by the first-level discipline of regional and country studies, the journal publishes high-quality academic work related to South Asia, focusing on topics such as the languages, literatures, cultures, societies, histories, and regional and country-specific issues of South Asia and related areas. The submissions primarily include original and innovative research papers, while also featuring scholarly interviews and book reviews. The aim is to present the latest research in the field, guide academic trends, and enrich and promote South Asian studies in China. The journal warmly invites scholars to contribute actively.
