South Asian Review is a comprehensive academic research journal, founded by Institute for International and Area Studies of Tsinghua University, sponsored by the Beijing Chenxing Education Foundation, published by The Commercial Press, with Professor Jiang Jingkui being the editor-in-chief. The journal publishes twice a year. Grounded on the first-level discipline of area studies, the journal publishes high-quality research products in the field of South Asian studies, and carries contents related to the languages, literature, history, culture, society, and country and area issues in South Asia and related regions. The journal mainly publishes highly original and innovative research papers, as well as academic interviews and book reviews, with a view of presenting the research status and setting new research trends in the field, as well as enriching and advancing South Asian studies in China.
